Daal Chawal

  • Dal Masoor 200g
  • Dal Mung 200g
  • Rice 300g
  • Water As Needed
  • Salt As Per Taste
  • Cooking Oil 3 Tbsp
  • Cumin 1 Tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 Tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 2 Tbsp
  • Green Chili 2 Pieces
  • Garlic 4 Pieces
  • Coriander Powder 1 Tsp
  • Cumin Powder 1 Tsp
  • Onion Half
  • Garlic Chopped 1 Tbsp
  • Whole Red Chili 3 Pieces
  • Red Chili Powder 2 Tbsp.
  1. Add rice in bowl for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Add cumin, salt and rice in water and boil it.
  3. Now in another bowl add Daal, Mung and Masoor and add water and keep them for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Now in water add all spices, salt, red chilies, crush green chili, turmeric, garlic, coriander powder, cumin powder, Daal and boil all these things.
  5. Boil them for 15-20 minutes on low flame
  6. For Tarka you need cooking oil, onion, and cumin in cooking oil and cook it until it change colour.
  7. After that add garlic, red chili in cooking oil and fry for some time.
  8. Daal Chawal is ready to eat.
